Temasek Polytechnic in New Zealand
Temasek Polytechnic (Temasek Poly, LR) is a post-secondary institution located in Tampines, Singapore. This is Tuesday polytechnic established in the nation. As an alternative industry to focus on secondary education a broader-based, graduate students at the Singapore Polytechnic School after finding a job or getting ready to complete a university degree. In June 1989, Dr Tony Tan, then Minister of Education, announced that a third polytechnic is being reviewed and in April, 1990, Temasek Polytechnic was established with an initial course of 735 student. Institute was originally established at the base Baharuddin Vocational Institute in Stirling Road and the premises vacated by Raffles Institute in Grange Road. Due to increased enrollment and the introduction of new courses, more than three establishments in Kim Seng, Bukit Merah and Portsdown Road was acquired for the population of students of the institute.
1995: Moving to a fixed location
In September, 1995, long-term site for Temasek Polytechnic has been completed and it moved to its current location in the town of Tampines.
2012-present: Logo redesign and construction of the hall
Temasek Polytechnic has undergone a redesign, sporting a fresh new look to reflect the vibrancy of the school. Auditorium Foyer City began construction in 2010 and was completed in 2013. McDonald's, Subway, ToastBox, and Cheers is available to both employees and the general public.
Temasek Polytechnic has 48 full-time diploma courses in the field of applied sciences, business, design, engineering, humanities and social sciences, and information technology & IT. It has six schools.
